摘要:继园又名三贝子花园，是清代北京西郊的一座大型私家园林，其旧址在今北京动物园内，当年曾经是游人如织的游览胜地。其中引御河之水入园，形成丰富的水景和分散曲折的岛屿，周围以连绵的土山环绕，随地形起伏布置形态丰富的长廊、亭榭，叠石、藤花点缀其间，水中密植莲花，陆地种植了大量的柳、槐、榆等高大树木，景致十分优美，并富有自然野趣。通过文献考证和遗址调研，对继园的历史沿革、基本布局以及造园手法进行了探讨。

Abstract:Jiyuan, a large private garden of Qing Dynasty in the west suburb of Beijing, is also named as the Garden of the Third Prince. Its original location is in the present Beijing Zoo. As a famous pleasure garden, it had a beautiful water landscape with the water from the long river, the hills encircling the whole garden, a lot of old trees and flowers, and some buildings and rockeries as well. Based on the materials and survey, its history, lay out and garden design are explored.
